Hybrid Card is a special member of the RFID cards family. Normally, on the combi hybrid card, two contactless chips are embeded in the same card body. These cards are laminated by plastic sheets and not interconnected. You can read both chips with your RFID card reader writer.

Hybrid/Com-bi card
It enables you to encapsulate two different chips in the same card, then it has two EEPROM and separate systems. However, it must follow the rules like LF+HF, LF+UHF, HF+UHF.

Dual Interface Card
Besides hybrid/combi card,we are capable to do dual interface cards as well. It allows you add one contact chip together with one contactless chip on the same card. You can also add a magnetic stripe on the contactless RFID card so that it become a dual interface card. It is widely used for banking, transport markets, ID, Government and other areas that need larger memory.
